About Us

Mavenlus publishes original serialized fiction about families, money, and the moments when people finally stop being polite.

Every story on this site is written in-house and released in chapters. We work in a format built for reading on a phone: short scenes, a lot of dialogue, and a reason to open the next chapter. Most of our stories run six to sixteen chapters and can be read start to finish in under half an hour.

Our subjects are ordinarya mother-in-law who goes too far, an inheritance that was never going to be split evenly, a dinner where somebody finally says the thing. We are interested in the small cruelties that happen inside families and in what it takes for someone to draw a line.

Every character, name, household, and event on this site is invented. We do not publish real people's stories, we do not report the news, and we do not accept submissions about identifiable individuals.

Mavenlus is independently run and funded by readers. The opening parts of every story are free to read; the rest can be unlocked with coins, bought outright, or read with a VIP subscription.

## Who runs Mavenlus

Mavenlus is operated by Duc Vu Minh, an independent publisher based in Vietnam. It is a small operation: the stories are written and edited in-house, with a short list of contributing writers whose work is reviewed before it is published. There is no parent company and no outside investor.

The site has been publishing since August 2026. Our readers are mostly English-speaking adults in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

## How the site is funded

Mavenlus is funded directly by its readers, not by advertising. Parts 1 to 3 of every story are free to read with no account and no payment. From part four onward, a story can be unlocked with coins, bought outright as a one-off purchase, or read with a VIP subscription. All prices are listed in US dollars on our pricing page before you buy anything.

Payments are processed by Whop, which hosts the checkout, issues your receipt, and appears on your bank statement. We never see or store your card details. Mavenlus is the seller of the content and handles refunds itself under our refund policy.
