Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. This page explains which cookies are used on Untold Story and what you can do about them.

Essential. A small number of cookies are needed for the site to work correctly and to remember basic preferences during your visit. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Analytics. We use analytics cookies to count visits and understand which stories are being read. These record information in aggregate, such as how many people opened a chapter and roughly where they were, and are not used to identify you.

Advertising. Our advertising partners may set their own cookies to measure whether an advertisement was displayed, to limit how often you see the same one, and in some cases to select advertisements based on your browsing. These cookies are set by those third parties and are governed by their own privacy policies, not by ours.

How to control cookies. Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies. Look under Settings, then Privacy. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which clears cookies when you close it. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading anything on this site, though some advertisements may become less relevant.

Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, our advertising partners may or may not honour it, as there is no agreed industry standard.
