Five Hundred Soldiers Filmed Him Attacking Me. Then They Filmed The Second He Understood What He Had Just Touched

Five hundred soldiers had come out to that field expecting four minutes of entertainment, and for four days every one of them had been told the same story about me: that I was a Navy operator who had been pushed into a joint program she had not earned, that I would fold the first time somebody hit me properly, and that Sergeant Ryan Briggs was going to be the one to prove it. He opened the match with a strike that was never a scoring technique. It was meant to finish me before the crowd had finished laughing. Every phone on that field caught it. Every phone also caught what came four seconds later, and then the story stopped being about a fight at all.
