LilyWhen I go back to Dad's for the weekend — is the sink still there?

WalterThe sink's still there. Rachel isn't.

LilyWhere did she go?

WalterTo her sister's, for now.

LilyIs Madison sad?

LilyI broke a glass.

WalterYou were told to find broken glass with your hands. That's not you being clumsy. That's something an adult did to you.

WalterIf anything like that ever happens again, in anyone's house, what do you do?

LilyCall you.

WalterYou call me. It doesn't have to be Sunday.

WalterAny day. Any hour. And you don't have to go in the closet.

Lily didn't say anything for a while.

LilyCan I have some cake?

WalterThere isn't any cake.
